Cindy Sheehan is absolutely insane

Newsweek has posted a quick interview with this wacko in which she makes two simply incredible claims: 1) the media hurt her peace movement by failing to give it adequate coverage. 2) The media has never questioned Bush about his "lies" about WMD's in Iraq.

Wait. Make that three: 3) She is responsible for bringing the Iraq war to the "forefront of American consciousness."

The woman is crazy. C-R-A-Z-Y!!! In anwers to 3 of only 4 questions, she demonstrates that she is completely unhinged and doesn't have even the slightest grasp on reality. Which is actually kind of sad, I guess.

Just curious, but did your son die? This "woman" is a mother of a service member who made the ultimate sacrifice and she deserves a little more respect. Unhinged you say, I bet she is. How hinged would you be if after losing a child in a foreign country to never really know what, exactly happened. Suffer that kind of loss and then talk about mental health, and while your at it work on your manners. She just wants to be heard, she wants people to understand those are real men and women who many think don't have any other future but to die for ours. I certainly won't sacrifice my son for oil companies to stay fat. Your an asshole.

Well, I can certainly honor and respect the son and his service to our country, while at the same time opining that his mother has gone well off the deep end, and is exploiting her loss to a degree and for purposes that would no doubt embarrass her son.

"She just wants to be heard..."

She also has been protesting with radical groups who advocate for the defeat of the US Military and advocate for soldiers to shoot their officers. This woman therefore is advocating for the sons and daughters of other mothers to die in Iraq. I give her no sympathy whatsoever. Especially since she hasn't even bothered to tell the story of her son's service. Luckily, milbloggers such as Matt at Blackfive go the extra mile to do so:

Army Specialist Casey Sheehan: http://www.blackfive.net/main/2005/08/army_specialist.html

The fact that more people know about Cindy than her son Casey is a tragedy. If Cindy truly cared about her son, she would be travelling the country sharing his story as Matt did at Blackfive. No such luck though. She is simply a partisan media whore.

Who, I repeat WHO, thinks the people in the military are only there to die? Who, dammit? Bush? I've never heard him say that. Cheney? No, he's never said anything like that. Hmm, lessee, who else would say that except a liberal? The generals in command? Nope, they haven't said it either.

How about the oil companies. Lessee, I've been in the industry for 15 years and have yet to hear a single person say we should send the military just for the oil. I've met quite a few liberals who have zero respect for the military but no one has ever suggested American blood in exchange for oil.

And it's "you're an asshole", not "your an asshole." If you're going to insult someone, at least be diligent.

Kelly tells you to watch your manners and then calls you an asshole. What a bitch! And a stupid one at that. No wonder she defends the wacko Cindy.

the problem is that the Democrats, Move-on, and liberal media, etc exploit Cindy Sheehan. they USE her for their own political agenda - without caring that:
a) she is a grieving mother
b) she is a grieving mother who, because of her loss, seems mentally unstable
c) she is actually behaving in a way that Casey Sheehan would be embarassed about and disapprove of.

shame of the left. shame. and i aqctually feel bad for Cindy Sheehan.
